Braddington Young Complaint - Braddington Young = Scum

Review by BradYoungRscammers on 2010-09-23
CHERRYVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- I recently bought a Braddington Young sofa and loveseat from FurnitureBlue.com. The workmanship is deplorable. Both pieces have major wrinkles on them and the back pillows do not stay in place. FurnitureBlue did all they could by sending out a repair person on their dime, but the pieces still look bad--this after paying over $4550!!!

Braddington Young said as far as the wrinkles go that "natural" materials have variances, and regarding the back pillows not staying in place, they said they recently redesigned them this way. (I have 4 other pieces from other manufacturers and have had not a single problem with any.) They took my money and sent me crap.

DO NOT BUY BRADDINGTON YOUNG furniture unless you are looking for trouble.

I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office in North Carolina.

It doesn't look like the leather was stretched properly, can you return it?

It looks like the leather has to have some give, thus, causing what appears to be small wrinkles at the bottom. It's a nice couch.

Skye, having had top quality leather furniture, I can tell you this is not quality craftsmanship, and probably, hopefully, not bought at a quality craftsmanship price.

I also have some expensive leather furniture--no wrinkles--and it's now 8 years old and still looks like new. It does sound they paid a lot for this couch too ($4,550) so the quality should have been great. The fact that the company said they designed the pillows so they would NOT stay in place--that's ridiculous. Thanks for warning people about this place.
