Bank of America Complaint - Bank anywhere but at bank of America
I have been a BOA customer for more years than I care to remember (from before they were NationsBank) and this is not the first issue I've had with them. It will however, be the LAST one I have with them. I deposited a check at an ATM that BOA erroneously returned. Called Customer Service more than a month ago and they were sending out a letter with the check image for me to re-deposit. MORE. THAN. A. MONTH. AGO. I have called over and over since then and get a different story every time as to what happened. The calls always end with them re-sending the letter and yet I still do not have it. Today, I spoke to Electronic Claims who passed me to Customer Service, then an Account Specialist, then the Account Specialist Supervisor, who then passed me on to the gentleman who would make sure that the check/letter would be expedited to me immediately. This lovely man told me they could FedEx the letter to me and they would CHARGE MY ACCOUNT for the cost of the overnighting it!!! Really? You can't get a check mailed back to me for over a month, I spend hours and hours and hours talking to people who all acknowledge the issue and apologize profusely for BoA's inability to get this done and then you tell me you're going to CHARGE me to mail it?!?!
