SuperShuttle Complaint - Held up in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- On a recent trip to San Francisco we used SuperShuttle from airport to our hotel. The quoted price on the internet was $17 for the first person and $10 for each person after. We had 4 people so were expecting to pay $47. Once we arrived at our hotel the driver basically held us up in the middle of Hyde Street for $68 or $17 for each person. After complaining to him he called the company and I was told that rate was for residential service.
We looked it up when we got in the hotel and the site made no mention of a different rate and still quoted the rate at $47.
We called the San Francisco SuperShuttle office and a customer service representative told us it should have been $47 and that the manager of QA would call me back.
We used the site again to book for our return trip thinking we had settled everything. We got a quote for and paid online $47. For the return trip.
Three and half weeks later the manager called. Refused to refund the $21. Repeated the same stuff about the site, only now when you do the estimate it gives the higher rate.
So use at your own risk and hope they don't decide to rob you in the streets like a mugger.
