Car Repair - Complaint
Recently a motorist insured by Ameriprise hit my car causing damage. Ameriprise recommended a body shop nearby, not because of their honest work, but because they repair cars with cheap aftermarket products instead of OEM products. Julie Abts, the Ameriprise representative, informed me that I had no recourse and that my car was going to be fixed with cheap parts unless I wanted to pay for it myself. Ameriprise would not budge on the subject. Ameriprise and Julie Abts are dishonest and will cheat victims of accidents out of an honest "good as new" repair, by using after market parts that cost half the price and offer half the quality. The retail value of my car is now permanently lost because it is no longer a genuine automobile.

I've got news for you... all insurance companies these days instruct body shops to use low-quality aftermarket parts.
