Direct E-cig.com Complaint - Direct E-cig.com Poor Customer Service/Business Practices

I ordered a "Free" trial of the electronic cigarette from Directecig.com. For the cost of shipping($9.95)you received a starter kit of the product. Nothing on the web page said anything about a 2 week trial period before they sent you the full order and charged the full price of $89.95 plus shipping.

They buried that info in the fine print of the "terms of service". When I called to complain they were rude and refused to allow a return for a refund.

Don't do business with these people, they are just rude and have very poor business practices.

If it's in the terms of service, then it wasn't being hid from you. NOTHING that is a free trial offer should be asking for your credit card information. They use the excuse of paying for shipping, well then why can't they ship it out COD for the shipping charges only?? FREE means free, but the minute a credit card number is given, the free becomes null and void.

Thanks Raven and jkt. The thing is, I always feel, if these products are so great, why not sell them in a store, so that everyone can try it, if they decide.
