Dish Network Complaint - Dish Network Charged for all they told me would be free
After two and a half months I was not receiving my bill and was notified via a 800 number to contact them and did, at this time I found out that the free HD programming, free HBO and showtime and free four rooms of programming were being charged to my account. After talking to them I found they would not reverse the charges and even though they promised free HD I had to go online and sign up for it through another website and they would not reverse any charges even though they were all part of a package I received when I signed up for service. They also had fees for talking to a customer service rep, for blocking adult programming, the list went on and on. And of course even though I was not under contract with them when I cancelled for being treated so poorly, they charged me another fee. Unbelievable..... Boooo to Dish network and how poorly I was treated. Another quick side note to how badly they treated me. When it was first installed I was in the middle of a home rehab and did not hook up a TV to the programming until my kids showed up a week later and when I did they programming was not coming through properly, it was fuzzy and just did not work properly, so I called them and they first wanted to charge me to send out a tech, but after having to talk to a supervisor they agreed to send someone out free of charge but they would not reimburse me for the week I was being charged even though the dish was not working right????? All because I didn't call during that week. When they came out they had to put all new equipment in, new dish and new receiver in order to get it to work and they still would not reimburse me for that entire week. That is really bad customer service. I quit never to be back.
So I was originally a customer since 2006, moved and used their movers program and all I asked for was a week of programming in which their equipment didn't work and for a reimbursement of the three items I was promised free in the first place and they refused to give any of those things. Some one please help me understand why you would let such a loyal customer drop. And most of the "managers" I talked with just laughed at me when I asked for those things. Booo to Dish
