Slumberland, Kearney, NE Complaint - Customer Service, What? There was None
KEARNEY, NEBRASKA -- I was very disappointed in the service I received from the Slumberland store in Kearney, NE. I had purchased a sofa, loveseat, and 2 queen bed sets from the store. My family member decided to purchase a table to go along with the other furniture in my new house. When the purchases were delivered to my house, I noticed that the table had one noticeable flaw on its top. When the family member who purchased the table came to look at it, she agreed that it was an unacceptable flaw and not what she had in mind when she purchased it. I took it upon myself to call and talk to Michelle, the store manager of Slumberland in Kearney, NE. She told me that there wasn’t much that could be done and that I could just bring it back for a refund. After I asked if they could order me a new table top to see if I could get one without a flaw, I was told that it was a “bad” idea and that I probably wouldn’t get one any better than the one I had. I wasn’t satisfied with this answer and feeling as though I have purchased multiple items from this store I guess I feel as though the service was very poor and unacceptable. In my profession as a service representative I felt that management didn’t offer an acceptable resolution to this problem. Therefore, I will not be purchasing anything else from the Slumberland store in Kearney, NE, nor will my family or I use Slumberland stores in the future. I am glad that I am not the only person that thinks customer service from Slumberland stores is BAD!
