5 corner RV Complaint - Worst Service Ever - RV didn't hold water

Review by cougs on 2010-09-27
BURIEN, WASHINGTON -- So we rented an RV and took a road trip where we would by dry camping. The RV wasn't the prettiest or best smelling but we were able to overlook that. We got to the RV park and the generator wouldn't work so we had no heat the first night. Turns out they forgot to tell us that the RV has to have 1/2 tank of gas to work. Next the toilet over flooded onto the ground so we shot off all the water. The next morning our fresh water was empty. So we packed up our campsite and went to fill it up. I call the RV place and they said it was our fault. Sure enough within 24 hours we were dry again. We didn't shower in there and stopped using the toilet after the flood, so there is no was we used 50 gallons of water in less then 48 hours. When I called them again their was no apology and they kept wanting to say that there was no way it was the RV's fault. I have a hold on my $ now and we'll see what a judge thinks. I refuse to pay for an RV that did not work.

I would think that renting an RV would include a walk-through with the client, including a check to see that everything was in working order. Apparently not. I hope you get your money back, keep us posted and good luck.

Since you state it has a generator I will assume this to be either a class A or class C RV. That being the case it would also have battery power for the lights, water pump, and the furnace fan. The heating system is propane, not electric. Therefore you should have had heat.

As just_cause pointed out there should have been a walk through before taking the RV. Next time make SURE they do it with you.
