Apple Gate Inn B&B Compliment - Wonderful Time at the Apple Gate Inn

Review by 110893 on 2010-09-27
AUGUSTA, MISSOURI -- We spent a couple nights at the Apple Gate Inn in Augusta, MO. The host, Lynn, was the sweetest, kindest, most amazing Hostess we could have asked for. She actually sat down and played a round of Scrabble with us one night! Breakfast was delicious (more than we could eat!). The Inn was beautiful and rustic. There's not much to do in Augusta other than visit the nearby wineries (which we did, with great vigor!), but to have this quiet little get-away we couldn't ask for a better experience. There's more B&B's in the area, but I know that if we ever go back to Augusta, we'll be staying at the Apple Gate again. In our eyes, no other B&B could hold a candle to this place.

Sounds wonderful, jabooty! B&Bs can be hit or miss so it's nice to get a recommendation. Bed, breakfast and wine create a good setting for people who just want to relax. This place seems perfect!
