Secure Horizon aarp Complaint - Pay for my own glasses

My preffered doctor found I had cataracts on a visist. She refered me to an eye specialist for surgery. The left eye was taken care of and I was to go back later for the left. my vision became a problem I needed glasses I went to the surgeon that was taking care of my eyes and he gave me my presscription for glasses. I took the prescription to an optical place got fitted had my glasses made under my insurance, I am now being told that my preferred doctor has to tell me where to go to get my glass prescription filled, rather than the docor whose care I was under for my eyes. I still need sugery in my left eye but I am afraid to risk haxing to pay myself. I have a message still on my answering machine with Secure Horizon reminding me to get my eyes checked because of my diabe
