OTHER THAN THAT, THEY WILL BLOCK YOUR PHONE CALL FROM LOVE ONE, S IT, S NOT RIGHT, ARE THEY NOT HUMAN? OR ARE THEY TO ROBOTS? SOON IT WILL BE MAN AGINSTS MACHINE. LONG AS YOU DO RIGHT. TAKE A LOOK AT MINES CURRENT -BILLING PROCESSING CHARGE-2.49ST SALE TX-4.68, FEDERAL TRS FUNDS(O.59%)=0.44 TAX TOTAL 15.30----174 MINS, FOUR WERE DROPPED CALLS I WAS CR FOR 23.30 CAUSE I PAID ALL FULL DEDT IN THE AUG MONTH, WHICH GAV A TOTAL OF 74.82 CAUSE OF THE 23.30 MY NEW BILL IS 69.31 WHEN I CHECK ON THE 23 OF SEPTEMBER IT WAS 61.81 SEE WHAT I MEAN AN NO CALLS WERE RECEIVE OR ACCEPTED PLEASE CBS UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM AN GIVE A GOOD SAVINGS PRICE FOR THESE CALLS, ITS A RECESSION TIME NOW BE A BIT CONCERN HERE. Nothing personal, but stamps and stationary are relatively cheap. Phone calls are nice but not a necessity and these companies have a monopoly in correctional institutions. Write instead and think of all the extra money you will have to send him for commissary.

first of all you don't need to start swearing at others here for disagreeing
and from what i've heard of the system it's around the same price as collect calls.
and yes, when someone goes to jail his or her family and friends will suffer. if anything... it should be a deterrent to crime in the first place.
you might want to consider USPS
