Dish Network Complaint - Moving issues
Today I called to have my Dish TV moved with me. When I told the woman that I was going to Florida in an RV for the winter months she told me that I would have to buy the dish and the boxes at a large expense to me. when I said forget it just turn it off she said that I would have to pay a penalty. Due to the fact that I am still under contract. This of course made me mad. I asked if there was anything else that could be done she said that I can put the account on hold for 6 months but there is a 5$ a month charge for that. I of course chose the 5$ a month to put the account on hold. Later I thought of leaving the dish itself on the roof of the apartment that I am in now, and got concerned. I called back, and was told that I would not be charged for the one left behind! So now I do not understand why if I take it I have to pay 145$ and if I abandon it I am not held responsible. None of this makes any sense to me. It is bad enough that their have been hidden charges after the promotional hook up but now I feel like they are taking it a bit too far.
