Toys R Us Complaint - Horrible, horrible, horrible!
I have recently bought the Michelle convertible crib, from Babies R Us. We decided to buy the conversion kit for the crib. We ordered the item online, first off: We live in an apartment complex, and the online fill out sheet only consisted of 2 lines for the adress, so nowhere in there could I put in my buzz code. So I ordered it anyways, and I called them up a week later, and told them the situation and if they can note in the order my buzz code, they said there was nothing they could do about it, so we waited anyways to see if the delivery guy would actually push the buzz number beside "for deliveries press ****" on the machine. Sure enough no he didn't, we got a call from puralator saying they'd try again the next day and then I told them my buzz number (May I add, we waited 2 whole months for our item, when my receipt said 2-4 weeks, completely obsurd) They delievered our product as stated the next day, we got it opened it up to check the condition, they sent us THE WRONG ITEM! I ordered the conversion kit, not the guard rail, including the guard rail was $30 cheaper than the conversion kit, and they STILL charged my credit card for the conversion kit. We called customer service, and they said they can come pick the product back up and after they receive it and check it in the inventory they THAN would reimburse me on my credit card, do they not realize there is interest on credit cards? So I said no I will get reimbursed now! They did indeed reimburse me the same day, but stated if they do not receive the item within 30 days they would recharge my credit card!! So I've been waiting for 2 days now for a phone call from their supervisor to arrange a date for pickup of the item(which I was told he/she would call within 24 hours) so now I will have to call them back and deal with more of their careless representatives, now how in the h*** is that fair for me? It is up to them to get their bums in gear and pick up their item, it was their mistake in the first place, and now I may have to suffer a charge on my credit card for an item I do not even have! Completely horrible customer care, they do not care about their customers, and when this is all said and done I will not ever buy from them ever again.
