Comcast Corporation Complaint - Warning: Do Not Sign Up For Comcast
Before you sign up for Comcast, please be advised they have the "WORST" customer service ever. I had signed up for a $99 bundle promotion back in August of 2009 in which they were going to give me a free Dell Netbook. Well after calling monthly for 4 months and customer service telling me it's on it's way go to find out the customer service representative who signed me up added the wrong code into my account which disqualified me. (Note: this wasn't my fault or problem) Since the installation I have had monthly problems, either internet is down/slow or my cable is blacked out or boxes need to be reset. I should have realized the lack of customer service when my appointment was cancelled 3 times without notifying me and taking the days off from work. Finally the day of installation they sent a sub-contractor who decided to have a beer during work hours, well after thinking finally my bundle is set up my phone and internet lines were crossed and burned out.
I have had numerous calls and after one year I am still currently on hold, slowly but surely my monthly bill has been increasing. Awhile back I was pretty much suckered into a $1.99 plan to assure that my bill would remain the same amount, well just found out it had nothing to do with my bill it is for tech support. Every time I have called the highest chain of complaint is a supervisor, they have no idea where their corporate offices reside nor have an address. (RIDICULOUS)
I can go on and on about my experience, all I have left to say is I really don't understand how Comcast is still in business!!!
