Allied Interstate Complaint - Taking money not authorized to take!
OHIO -- I am default on my Sears card. In which, the account is in collections with Allied Interstate. On 2/24/2005, I recieved a call from them (allied interstate) stating that I could settle the balance for $685. I told them I did not have the money right then to pay it in full, so he (the representative) said if I give him my checking account # that I could pay the $200 which I agreed to. Then make installment payments until the $685 was set. I told him to take the $200 out of my account on Monday 2/28/05. They took the full $685 out of my account, in which I needed because my daughter was in the hospital & I was not working so that was bill money & for her medicine. I called allied on 3/2/05 and spoke with Erin Washington to make a complaint. After we had words, she hung up on me. They made me feel like I lied about the whole conversation. In which I didn't. I wanted to hear a recording of a phone conversation, Erin said in 48 hrs I could hear one if I was going to pay the full balance which was $1462.54. Then she acts like she is miss perfect because she has A-1 credit. So she felt like I was beneath her because I hadn't paid a bill. Most people just get in bad situations.
