Cingular Wireless Complaint - AT&T-Cingular Merger=Bad service
DALLAS, TEXAS -- We signed up with AT&T a year ago for a two year contract. We had to make adjustments to our bill a few times but the reps were very helpful and courteous and we were able to resolve our issues. Since merging with Cingular - our bill went from $ 130 - $ 160 per month to $ 500. There is a $ 40 charge for Ewallet (we don't know what that even is?) and there is no number to contact about it. They say to go on a website, but I can't find the site. They will not remove the charge and their reps are so uprofessional. I am put on hold then, disconnected only to call back and have to wait for another 30 min. to even talk with a rep again. To cancel they say we have to pay $ 175 for each phone we disconnect (we have a family plan) with 3 phones. I am so disappointed with the service since Cingular took over and feel so helpless - They tell me to call another department, only to have that dept. not help either. We will definitely not stay with Cingular when our contract expires if this lack of Customer Service and Fraud continues.
