Bank of America Complaint - BofA will punish you for using their services!
I had a messed up experience with them, and I am taking it to the BBB, the banking commission, attorney general and any one else who will listen! I had a merchant account for my business. (Not a merchant checking, a credit card acceptance account.) Well, that company had frequent "computer glitches" that would withdrawal random amounts of money anytime some one used their credit card to pay me! Imagine the havoc it wracked when I would get a $100 credit followed by a $450 withdrawal. You can see how that clearly doesn't add up in my favor. TO make matters better, even though the company could withdrawal money randomly, and could electronically deposit when some one swiped their card, they claimed they couldn't electronically credit me for the "glitches" and I would have to wait 2 weeks for paper checks each time! I asked the branch manager for my BofA how this practice could be stopped and she said the ONLY way they could prevent Cornerstone from withdrawing money from my account was to close my account and reopen a new one. So I did that. Like clock work, 3 days later, Cornerstone's computer had another "glitch" even though I didn't process any credit cards with them any more. As a "courtesy", BofA REOPENED my account and charged me insane overdraft fees!!! I called and spoke with supervisors at the call center, the branch and even spoke with Paul at the corporate office and was told my only recourse is to pay BofA what ever they requested, as punishment for doing as their manager had instructed me!!! What kind of company is this?!
