Time Warner Cable Complaint - Terrible Service!
The only reliable thing you can expect from Time Warner Cable is that they will promptly bill you and collect your money on a monthly basis. Aside from that, their ability to provide reliable service and prompt customer service is terrible.
Last month, my internet access was not working. It took 4 days before they could send a technician to my place. When I questioned why it would take so long, they explained that I was “lucky” to get a tech so soon.
This past weekend, my entire neighborhood (on the upper east side) lost phone and internet access. Many people were also without cable. The service went down at 11AM on Friday, as of Monday it is still not fixed. When I called to speak to a superior to ask why it was taking so long she said I was ‘lucky so far’ as some of their outages can last over 2 weeks. She actually had the nerve to boast about how long their outages last as though it were a good thing. While I was repeatedly told that this was an issue that they were working on, my neighbors were told that TWC did not see the outage as an emergency and did not want to pay an engineer overtime to address the issue. So the problem would wait until Monday to have someone start looking at it.
I am ending my abusive relationship with Time Warner and consider myself ‘lucky’ that I will be able to switch to a new provider of MY choice.
STAY AWAY from Time Warner Cable. They do not want your business.
