Frigidaire/Electrolux Complaint - Don't buy the extended warranty-they won't honor it!
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -- So, I had a leaking Frigidaire dishwasher from the first week we bought it. The repair guy came out and couldn't fix it so SEARS replaced it. At that point I thought it would be a good idea to get a warranty so I purchased (for over $200.00) an extended warranty from Frigidaire itself. After multiple repairs they said I had extended the cost of repair and now they needed to replace the dishwasher. THAT was the last of it. It's been 3 months. Every time I call (which has totaled about 20 hours at this point- no I'm not exaggerating) I get "the check is in the mail" story. I've been lied to, not called back, put on hold until it hung up, and completely defrauded. I've been given an authorization number and told in 72 hours I can go to Sears to pick up a new washer, I've been told one will be arriving at my home within 72 hours, I've been told "We are SO SO Sorry this has happened to you and we are going to pay for the install as well. That was 3 months ago. Guess what?? No dishwasher. I've notified the Better Business Bureau but I don't know what they can do. I seriously don't trust anyone who works for this company or any product that is going to be sent to me from this company. Don't be fooled- steer clear. DO NOT buy the extended warranty from this company or you WILL regret it too. Buyer beware!! I wish I would have looked into it a little more. I see now that MANY others have had similar experiences.
