Brinkman BBQ's Complaint - Poor quality and poor access to parts

I bought the above bbq from your Klamath Falls, Or store. I had to return the first 2 bbq's because the burner valves allowed just enough gas to lite 1/2 of the jets. A slight breeze blew out the burner jets. On the 3rd return I purchased a more expensive unit. Brinkman was the only gas bbq manufacturer available at this store. In the 2 years I have had the unit, I have had to replace the regulator twice. Along with the second regulator, I had to purchase a burner valve. The valve sent to me was the wrong one. I called about returning the valve for a replacement and sent the part back. After 3 weeks I called regarding the status of the replacement part. I was told they had no record of the part being received. I gave up and order the part from another supplier. You really need to check into the quality of the products you sell.

I think this complaint is addressed to Home Depot, which sells the Brinkmann brand. I always think of the Seinfeld where Puddy assists Kramer with the Clarkmann garbage disposal in his shower when I hear the name.

Kudos to you for the guts to double down and buy a more expensive unit. This is a great review, and should lead people to realize they need to do some research before planning their first Spring BBQ.

I've found that Brinkman makes a good smoker, but I like the Weber gas grill better.
