Scam

When I called Century Link to tell them I had discontinued my DirecTV service and planned to go to Dish they transferred me to what I thought was Dish, but it turns out it was Infinity Dish. They charged my credit card $49.99. When asked Dish about this they said they have nothing to do with Infinity Dish and that Infinity Dish is like a third party that connects people to TV services. I did need anyone to connect me to Dish. I could have done that myself. So now I'm trying to get my $49.99 back, but no one seems to know anything. Feels like a scam. Paid 49.99 for this company to connect me with regular Dish when I would have done that myself without their help. It appears by the other reviews on here that other people have experienced the same type situation.

Infinity Dish Ripoff

ARKANSAS -- They are a rip-off. I called and cancelled the service on the same day I set it up. Set up 3/23/16 in the am then at 12 noon called and cancelled same day and on 3/25/16 they charged my debit card $49.99 two days after canceling the service. Called about the charge and they acted unconcerned. Then on 3/29/16 I called my cardholder and they informed me that my card was charged on the 25th. When I called Infinity they gave me a refund # to give the cardholder and sent me an email that I can't open. Needless to say I will be contacting my attorney.

Charged $49.95 for 1st month, canceled, but no refund.

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA -- I called what I thought was Dish Network, but it turned out to be Infinity Dish in Florida. I paid a $10.00 deposit and $49.95 for 1st month payment prior to installation. I was unable to get the dish, because I had too many trees. They refunded the $10.00, but not $49.95. I have called 5 times, and each time I could not get to talk to anyone, so left 5 messages for call back, but no one called.

I have reported them to the FCC and the BBB of Fla. I have not heard from either of these two bureaus. They committed a fraud when they told me my money would be refunded, and when they pretended to be Dish Network. I called Dish Network, and they said they could not do anything. Someone needs to investigate these two companies so that others will not be charged for services not received.

Completely Mislead By Rep.

BROOKHAVEN, PENNSYLVANIA -- When the representative got on the phone the first thing I told him was, I've been with Comcast and 2 months away from initial 2 year contract with Verizon Fios ending. I also said Verizon keeps bugging me to sign up for another 2 year contract, with a price increase of $48.00 per month. I asked the phone representative not to mislead me but to give me the monthly charge, he said $129.99 per month guaranteed not to increase for 24 months. I told him several times during our conversation how disgusted I am with both Comcast and Verizon, my bill stated out at $99.00 per month with monthly increases it's now double that.

I read the fine print on the sale paper I received today regarding Dish, that representative who answered the phone when I called is the same as the reps from Comcast and Verizon says things that aren't true. I'm getting so tired of all this TV & internet sales people who could care less about giving inaccurate information. Just be truthful is it that difficult. Forget Comcast. Forget Verizon Fios. Forget Infinity Dish. I'll get the internet only from an honest dealer.

Was TRICKED into a 2 year contract

FLORIDA -- Infinity Dish is not Dish Network. They are a 3rd party selling Dish Network packages.

I entered my information on the Frontier website, because I wanted to purchase a TV/internet bundle with Frontier. Infinity Dish called me back. I told the agent, Devon, that I was looking to bundle with Frontier and I did not want Dish. Devon told me that they partner with Frontier, but that Dish provides the TV service, not Frontier. I told him that I had Frontier 8 months ago and I had TV. Devon reiterated that Dish is the TV provider for Frontier.

Infinity Dish lied to me to get me to sign a 2 year agreement!
Do NOT use their service. InfinityDish.com cannot be trusted!!!! They will do anything to sell you a package. It was not until later, when Frontier came to connect my internet, that I realized Frontier did in fact offer TV services and that I did not need to order Dish Network.
I called Dish to complain, but they will not let me out of my contract without paying their $480 termination fee. They instructed me to contact Infinity Dish It was awful!
After several hours on the phone asking Infinity Dish to waive my cancellation fee, requesting the initial call where Devon lied to me and tricked into a 2 year agreement with Dish, I was told that my complaints were “invalid”!
I was also told that I couldn't expect Infinity Dish to tell me that I could get my TV through Frontier because Frontier is their competitor. They said that no company is going to tell you to go to their competition!!!
Let me say again...DO NOT GO THROUGH INFINITY DISH!!! Look them up! They are lairs! You have many other options.

PHILADLPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I ordered Dish. I was told there was a one time fee for installation. On my statement I had 2 withdraws. One from Dish and one from Infinity. I called and complained and they said I would be credited. I was unable to get Dish because of where I lived so I canceled it. I called for a refund and all I got was the run around. Call this number, and were Dish and not Infinity. FRAUD. They just took my money.

UNKNOWN, FLORIDA -- I signed up for Dish through Infinity. The sales person I spoke with told me they charge a $49.95 fee with the order but I would get a "free" $50 Visa card that would offset that charge. He failed to tell me that I had to pay a 6% "shipping and handling" charge through a third party in order to get the card. This is not a huge deal, but I like people to be upfront about things instead of finding out later. Do companies not realize how much little things like this take away from their good name?

SAN GABRIEL, CALIFORNIA -- Infinity Dish stole $49.99 from me, even after I cancelled service a day later. I've made multiple attempts to get a refund. After I spoke with Dish Network customer service representative, I found out that Infinity Dish is a 3rd party provider. Dish Network does not charge for installation.

Did Not Follow Through With Refund

So I guess that I'm going to be one in a long line of customers, that you said you would refund my $49.99 after you could not install a system. And you did not refund my money and I was not smart enough to check to see if I received the refund, which I did not and now it's been too long, passed the 90-day limit. Thanks for nothing.

Beware: INFINITY DISH - Bait & Switch Advertising
By -

DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA -- BEWARE: Infinity Dish advertising 2 Room HD DVR Upgrade as a part of their current promotion, but that really means only ONE ROOM HD DVR and the other only standard! INFINITY DISH - Blatant False Advertising: Very specifically on their website under current promotions it says "2 Room HD DVR Upgrade", "FREE service on second TV", "Free Activation ($99.99 Value)", "The most HD channels in the business", "Highest quality picture in the business", "Rated #1 in Customer Service"...

In fact in reality what you get is only one TV in HD and the second only standard. But nowhere does it even say the word "standard" on their "current promotions" page! Not until the technician came to install was the first time I was ever told that what I would be getting was only one TV with HD! I still cannot understand how or why they would do something so clearly wrong. THIS IS BLATANT BAIT & SWITCH ADVERTISING!!!

And when I talked to several different tiers of customer service, the best I could get was, "Well if you want HD in two rooms then you need to pay an additional $99 up front cost and then an additional $10 per month rental fee for an additional box". But quite simply I already ordered their 2 room HD DVR upgrade as a part of their current promo package! So, after much frustration, I cancelled the service even while the technician was still there out of sheer principle alone. This is simply wrong and it truly pisses me off... Beware of Infinity Dish and Dish Network... slimy business practices and this behavior should be reprimanded!
