DirecTV Inc Complaint - Direct TV undisclosed 24 Month Contract
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I as well was never informed about the 24 month contract, as a matter of fact AT&T converted me to their bundle and never mention anything as well. Funny how one company swindles you and then takes no responsibility for their partnership or their actions and scam policies. I will gladly join a class action law suit. They claimed that all would be the same (even less) than my current company (which by the way does not have a contract for cancellation) and within three months my bill increased by $80.00. I agree with other posts and as well that all contracts should be explained by installer & sales to conform to their demands for payment.
Count me in for any additional claimants needed. I have a bill that I just don't think I should pay. They said they would force a charge to my credit card and since that was cancelled I would be billed mind you, I paid the minimum service fee for over one year with no service, sent back their boxes and just got tired of money flowing to a ruthless company so I cancelled the account completely. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! People are losing their homes and they are still trying to enforce a contract policy that was never explained nor disclosed. Their custonmer service people are dispicable (wonder if they'd like to be on the other side).
