Sears Compliment - Sears Delivered!
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- We set up a Saturday delivery with Sears. (today, 10/9/2010) On Tuesday the Sears automaton called to confirm, but did not have a time yet. (btw, if you're expecting a Sears delivery make sure to answer all unknown toll free numbers; it might be Sears as it does not specify their name on the caller ID)
On Friday evening the automan called once more letting us know the deliver time for Saturday would be between 11:15 am and 1:15 pm. That was fine with us, luckily, because I've read some horror stories here on trying to change it!
The delivery people pulled up just a few minutes after one in a big Allied moving van. (I expected a Sears van, not a rental, but, whatever.)
There were two men, but only one many came in, took out old washer out to the garage and the old dryer out to their truck, then brought the new washer and dryer in. The other guy just lifted the old dryer onto their truck and basically checked the work the other guy did.
They were here and gone in less than half an hour. (we installed the appliances ourselves; personally, I would have paid to have it done, but you know how men can be! ; ) )
I was very impressed with the salesman at the store; he was extremely knowledgeable and eager to help us. I was also impressed with the delivery service. (except for the odd way of setting the appointments. The caller ID should read Sears, and there should be an option to speak with a real person should an issue arise.)
