Qwest Complaint - Qwest is incompetent!
IDAHO -- I decided to disconnect our home phone in June of this year (2010). I contacted Qwest and made the request and was told it would take two days to do this. Sounds fine. I still want my internet service though, so I was told my bill would go from 83.00 to about 42.00 per month. Great, I am saving 41.00 per month. My next bill comes and it's still 83.00. I called them and they don't have a record of my phone being disconnected. So I have paid the whole month and didn't even use that phone because I thought it was disconnected like they said it would be.
They said they would not charge me for that month. The next bill comes and it is 63.00. A little better, but not the 42.00 that I was told. I call again and the guy cannot figure out how that happened. I told him it happens when the billing office doesn't talk to the customer service people and vice versa. By now it is August and he tells me to just pay the 42.00 and it should be fine. I do that and now I get another bill for 83.00 and with a disconnect notice for my HOME PHONE. HA HA, I seriously hope they follow through with it! I won't get my hopes up though.
I am disconnecting my internet with them too, because they are so ridiculously incompetent!
