Slenderzone Complaint - Worst Customer Service
My wife ordered Slenderzone for several months. She is a vegan and we have been attempting to get pregnant, so she signed up this past March believing that improved nutrition would help our chances of conception. The first several weeks of this service were absolutely spot on. My wife has very particular food preferences, and the staff was very accomodating in meeting all of her needs. She spoke with Chef Sharon several times and Sharon worked hard to make sure her orders were correct. The food tasted delicious! My wife was also very careful to document each and every order and transaction via email.
However, this past month, my wife and I took a much needed vacation abroad. My wife was careful to call and email one week prior to our leaving to request a hold on the delivery service. While we were abroad, we learned from my mother in law that there were several days (4) worth of meals waiting on our front porch. These meals went uneaten, as we returned 3 days later.
My wife phoned and emailed on our return. While initially the staff apologized and promised to refund our 4 days of delivery, they sent a follow-up email refusing a refund. My wife was finally able to reach Chef Sharon on her cell phone after several days of ignored phone messages. Chef Sharon was apparently receiving phone calls from her car in a parking lot. She was irate, complaining (and berating my wife for having the nerve to call her while she was in her car) that she couldn't possibly follow up on all of her emails, that she could not remember all of my wife's details during this phone call, and had no pen or paper to write with. My wife promised to call her back one week later to follow-up and did, but never received a return call.
It seems that Chef Sharon is in way over her head. She is a great chef, but her business is now swamped, and customer service has not only taken a back seat, but it is last priority. Chef Sharon has no business sense and I fear that her business will soon go under, not because of poor product, but because of poor communication and follow-up.
Chef Sharon still owes us 4 days worth of food delivery (more than $120 worth of food), but my wife is only requesting one day's worth of refund to be rid of this service. Buyer beware!!!
