Comcast Corporation Complaint - I will have someone call you back...so THEY say
We currently moved and are planning to take Comcast with us. We had a installation date of Oct 4. Contractor came out to hook up cable, drilled 4 holes into hardwood floors, ran cable up walls then he went outside to hook up cable and realized that the poles were too far from house so they would need to tap into pole across street. No problem..right...BIG problem. Had to get supervisor to approve. He came out and approved. The said they needed to contact constuction to tap. Asked how long before we could get cable/internet. He told me it could be a couple days or a couple weeks depending what else they had to do. I have been calling Customer Service EVERYDAY trying to find out when date is. Explained we had 4 holes in floor with cable sticking out tied in a knot. Everyday representative had told me they have ESCALATED claim and will call me back. I have yet to receive a call back. Explained they are college kids who really need internet more than cable. I do not understand why someone would come into somebodys house..drill holes into hardwood floors and then not complete the job. They can at least call me with a date. One representative said it could take 3-6 weeks. Needless to say I am going to go with DIRECT TV. Did not want to sign contract but really have no other choice. I will still be patiently waiting for their call.
