Best Buy Complaint - Best Buy's Not So Premium Service
I recently purchased a home theater system from Best Buy. The purchase included a 46" Sony Bravia LED/LCD HD Television (approx $1500.00, an entertainment center,($800.00) and a 5.1 HD surround sound system ($700.00) I was told while in the store that the television in particular was on back order and would take a couple of weeks for delivery. The delivery date has finally arrived, A MONTH LATER!! and guess what, I got I call from Best Buy this morning, and my television is still not available. They stated it would be a couple more weeks, but could not give a specific time or date..WTH?? All this television drama comes complete with the fact that originally, Best Buy sold me "PRE-OWNED" speakers at a NEW price. How did I know the item was used? The mounting brackets and instruction manual were missing. When I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, they replaced the speakers, but offered no explanation or no apology for the mix up. I guess we will see how Best Buy handles the return of over $3,000 in merchandise.
