Travelocity Complaint - Repulsed Stay away from Travelocity and Top Secret Deals
I was reviewing hotels with a minimum of 3 stars which most or all met my satisfaction. Unfortunately the customer service and chicanery of Travelocity's Top Secret Deals did not. I provided the criteria for the Top Secret Deals and was under the impression I will get a great discounted rate for a 3 star hotel. I was utterly disgusted and repulsed when I saw the hotel Travelocity provided at a so called deep discount (which only amounted to $9.00 USD). Travelocity provided a hotel room at a 2 star hotel that I would never consider staying for even an hour. I immediately called customer service to dispute or make amends to the transaction, but the manager was unyielding and boisterous (yes you Janet). Her claim was nonchangeable, nonrefundable, etc. even when I explained to her 80% of the websites I viewed while on hold for 45 minutes did not rate this hotel as a 3 star. WOW WHAT A COSTLY MISTAKE!!!
I have no intentions to stay in that hotel and I am eating the money I lost. But you bet your bottom dollar, they won't get it easy.
