Ashley Furniture Complaint - Never shopping there again
MADISON, TENNESSEE -- I bought a living room set from Ashley August 21st. The furniture was scheduled for delivery September 28th and it never showed even though I got a confirmation call for delivery the night before. I called Ashley 4 times in the next three days and got no answers. Finally the delivery company called me Friday and said they'd deliver it on Tuesday one week after it was supposed to be delivered. I got to watch TV sitting on hardwood floors for a week. When they did deliver my furniture I only got half of it with a broken coffee table to boot. I called them to tell them about the coffee table in detail telling them one of the wheels on it was broke off or missing and it just needed a new wheel. Again I took time off from work to meet the repair guy to fix the coffee table. He came out looked at it and left without doing anything. Now I have to take more time off from work for him to come back and do what he was supposed to do the first time. To make a long story short all my furniture was supposed to be here on the 28th and all I have is a loveseat and a broken coffee table. My family is coming in town for a few days and I have no furniture two weeks after the delivery date. Ive lost 600 dollars so far alone just taking time off for there screw ups and still have more to lose. I won't be buying from Ashley again.
