Allstate Insurance Complaint - Don't expect service
After the recent hail storm passed through Oklahoma City and over our home I waited a reasonable time for the expected back-log to clear then called to get a roof inspector to inspect the hail damage on our roof. First inspector gave me only one date more than 10 days away and at a time when I need to work. He was difficult to reach and by the time I could get him to call again he said he had filled the original time he had given me. He was a real grouch. A call and complaint to Allstate and they gave the lame excuse that they didn't do their own inspecting and used another company and I should complain to them! I thought Allstate was who I sent my money to! I finally got a call from a reasonable inspector but he said he lived in Mississippi and was just leaving for 2 weeks to visit home. After he got back it was about another 10 days to get an inspection and a quote on the hail damage. Meanwhile many of my neighbors already had their entire roof replaced. We still haven't received any money from Allstate only an estimate from someone who is not an Allstate person. No one from Allstate seems to care about anything. I've sent 6 emails to complain and try to get some service from them and the 35 years I've paid Allstate for my home insurance seems to mean NOTHING to them. If you want a company who will give personal attention and see that you are taken care of I suggest you avoid Allstate!
