Twin Transit Compliment - Great Service and Rolling Stock

Review by Starlord on 2010-10-12
Here in southwest Washington are two cities, Chehalis and Centralia. they are called the Twin Cities, and are served by Twin Transit. Twin Transit has clean, modern coaches, and safe, excellent drivers. Some of the larger buses are 'kneeling' buses, which lower the right front end to pick up or drop off passengers. Most of the coaches can carry two mobility scooters or power chairs, with a special lift. Rates are reasonable, costing just one dollar for a trip, two dollars for an all-day pass, or you can purchase a monthly pass for just ten dollars. I have ridden many city buses, but Twin Transit has them all beat!

Starlord, send these people to Pittsburgh. Our transit system is a bureaucratic, bloated, mismanaged, mess!

That's great starlord.

Alain, one thing I have found after living in Asia is that, for the most part, the transportation in most of the US is not too great. I did like the Metro North line from CT to NY though. Made going to NYC a breeze when we lived in CT. Grand Central Station was fantastic to someone like me who grew up where we had to drive everywhere ourselves.

You're right, Singsing! There are some transit systems that are good or are improving, but most of them seem to be one big political boondoggle!

Good deal, cheaper than driving and paying for gas and vehicle maintenance. Just a short distance North of you Starlord, monthly bus passes are $72 and up.
