JDS Computers Complaint - Aggressive Behavior/Poor Business Practice

Review by magoogirl on 2010-10-13
PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA -- When you purchase from a small business person who claims he backs up the products he sells and services- you believe that. However our experience with the above local computer guy was far from that. Not only did he take our money for a laptop that he knew was faulty but then after several trips there he gave the computer back to us saying it was no good. Then was asked if he thought that was backing up his business he became very aggressive, screaming for us to get out of his store, pounded his fist on his compartment area so hard we thought he broke it, then called the police and told them someone was threatening him in his store(which by the way was me, being an older woman of small stature).

No one should be treated in this way and I would warn others not to deal with a character such as this. This is what hurts our small businessmen-the likes of a scoundrel like him.

You need more specifics to the problems you are having

What did the police have to say when they got there? Your best bet at this time is small claims court.

I just found this and decided to respond.
Small statured woman, correct. Large intimidating male companion, yup, had that also. Agressive attitude, and threated me? yup, they did that also. The "petit" woman failed to say she and companion attempted to come over the counter to assult me. I responeded, they should be happy the
violence they brought into my store was not escalated.
Now to the details, client RIPPED out their DC jack on laptop. It was replaced. Customer continued to abuse laptop by letting charger "dangle" off their laptop while moving it from location to location. I repaired the same problem 4 times until it finally ripped itself from the board and damaged the traces and became unrepairable.
I fix computers, I can't fix stupid or ignorant.
