DirecTV Inc Complaint - Terrible customer service
We used to bundle our service with Qwest but have moved and are no longer Qwest customers. Our first bill from DirecTV was paid on time but when our next bill came it showed a past due balance still. I called DirecTV and they said they never received our payment. We checked our bank and all our bills are paid through electronic bill pay and it was sent to DirecTV. I talked to DirecTV again and was told we needed to fax payment info. from our bank to them and it would take 10-15 days to process. Meanwhile, we were given a disconnection date because of this "past due" balance. I called DirecTV again and they wanted me to make a payment which I said we cannot do again. I finally begged to speak to a supervisor and he was able to extend our date by 2 1/2 weeks to give the finance dept. ample time to resolve this. Well, our due date is now tomorrow, the 15th, and I can't get a response from my emails about this. I'm afraid if I phone them they will have no record of all the past communications and I will have to start all over. I'm beyond frustrated! If they have proof of our payment it's not our fault they can't find where it went! It's ridiculous that it's taking this long for a resolution! I don't know what else to do at this point!
