merchant bank card Complaint - over-the-limit fees and late fees
VALENCIA, CALIFORNIA -- I have made three separate attempts to resolved this issue. I can't remember ever using the card, nor do I even know where the card is. I have contacted you and requested that you send me an account of all transactions since I started a credit line with you. I first contacted you in June of 2001 and I haven't received any information from you and I also stated that the fees were an exorbinate amount and we needed to resolve that matter too. I remember receiving a credit, I believe, for the amount of $300. My credit account is close to $900 -- there about. This is quite upsetting because I have over $500 or more in fees. According to law, as long as this is dispute, I am not supposed to be charged until this matter is resolved. You are charging me and you have been reporting it to the credit agencies which in turn has ruined my credit. I tried to get a loan for a used car and was turned down on every attempt. One of the reasons is you reporting me to the agencies when, according to law, this is not suppose to happen.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I want this matter to be resolved fairly. I would like the fees that I have been charged especially since June of 2001 when I should not have been charged at all wiped clean. Secondly, I would like to have a fair treatment of the fees that are so excessive to be eradicated. I know that I am not the only person to have been treated like this, but I would like to be treated fairly.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
