Hotels.com Complaint - Don't Use Hotels.com
Booked a hotel reservation via hotels.com in August for the weekend of October 22. Called today to cancel it and was told, much to my surprise, that it is was non-refundable. I was NEVER told this during the conversation while booking it or I would never have booked it. I called several times today to speak to a supervisor and never got put through to one. I was put on hold once for 20 minutes, and disconnected two other times. Each customer service agent told me the same thing. I went back and looked at my origianl e-mail and it does say it is non-refundable. However, I wasn't privvy to this information until after they took my money. In my opinion, this is a scam, wrong, enethical, etc. and I would suggest nobody use hotels.com.
