Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast Has No Customer Service
STREAMWOOD, ILLINOIS -- I was having siding redone on my home and I scheduled a Comcast Technician to come out to my home to have a cable box removed that was some how tied into the computer and when I attempted to remove it the phone and internet would go done. Also, I want to have the point on entry for the cable TV extended approximately 4 feet. I had made the appointment at a time when the workers for the siding would be there and able to expose any necessary wires for Comcast. Comcast send some man Larry who disconnected the box and proceeded to tell me that he does not get paid to fix things and drove off in his truck knowing that I had no phone service of Internet service.
I immediately called customer service and got no where. I made multiple attempts to get them to send some one out (over two hours) while the contractors were there so that the matter could be resolved. What would have been maybe a 10 - 15 minute job has turned into a nightmare.
I finally had to call corporate headquarters at 217-665-1700. They sent a technician out last night. My house is rigged up with 3 splitters, I no longer have high speed internet because of it. The bright side is I finally have phone and Internet service. However, I cannot move or add any equipment because of how it is rigged up. A second technician shows up and asks if I mind if the wires show and I said no. I asked him how he was going to get the wires into the house because the siding is now a foot below floor level. He response is that I should hire a contractor and that's what most of the other Comcast customers do.
Comcast, instead of spending millions of dollars trying to convince consumers that you are a good company, perhaps you should actually work on becoming a good company. You have an inferior product but nothing to back it up making it worthless.
