I am fed up with talking to call centers in INDIA...people in America need work...they are unprofessional and impossible to understand...have no recourse for complaints and just hang up, because they can...

I will stop shopping at Sears if you don't stop using INDIA!

People in America won't work for the wages that people in other countries will.

A lot of companies outsource to other countries, it's not just Sears.

@momsey +10. The average monthly wage for a call center employee in India is around $350.00 a month. Compare this to a U.S. employee at minimum wage earning full time $1256.00 a month. If all the customer service jobs currently outsourced by Sears and other large retailers were returned to this country WHO do you think will pay for the difference in this wage? You would see prices increase accordingly.

All you have to do is ask to be transferred to a Call Center in the States

When the situation rarely arises, I politely explain that I cannot understand what they are saying and would they please get me someone else. Works every time.
