Thrifty Complaint - Almost missed flight because of problems returning car
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- Thrifty — My wife rented a car on Saturday in Minneapolis. She had gone up there to pick up our new dog.
When she returned to the airport with the dog and just enough time to make her flight, She parked the car in the huge rent a car lot in a and took the keys to the Thrifty counter. When she got to the airport they said she couldn't return the car there but had to return it to the other terminal where she rented it. After having difficulty finding the car again, (she didn't expect to have a reason to remember where she parked it), she finally got it returned and bairly made her flight.
The interesting thing is that they have so institutionalized bad service that they have a pre printed map to the other lot!!!!
In over 1.5 million miles of business travel I thought I had seen the worst of bad rent-a-car service. This tops anything I have ever seen.
