Permanent General Complaint - Bad Service

I had gotten rid of my car late on a Friday and tried calling to cancel my policy and their hours are only m-f from 8-5. I called first thing Monday morning to cancel my policy and they said that I could not cancel over the phone. They said I would have to email or fax a request to cancel. I emailed them as soon as I got off the phone and it said that it will take up to 2 business days for somebody to get back with me. I checked my bank statement and they had taken the money out of my account already that morning. I called them back and they said it can take up to three days after my policy gets canceled to determine if I even get my money back. These people have bad customer service and don't care about the customer.

They just care about taking your money. I will never hold another policy with them ever again.

I'd never heard of this company so I took a look and found out they specialize in 'nonstandard' or 'specialized' insurance, such as assigned risk. It does sound as if they are going to try to get one last payment out of you if they can. If possible, you'll probably want to get insurance from a less specialized company should get another car.
