Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint - Harassment and Bad Customer Service
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- I recently traded in my old vehicle (it was a 2006 and in great condition) just to get a break from the harassing phone calls that the Chase Custom Finance Milwaukee office has been bombarding me with for the past four and a half years. I have NEVER made a late payment yet they start calling 3 days before my car payment is ever actually due and continue to call me for the next 25 days, multiple times per day. They also practice predatory lending practices. I origanally financed my loan at a 23% interest rate. When my husband started to make a good income I called and asked if I could refinance my loan. They told me I was a "high risk" customer and that they weren't willing to let me refinance, even though I would have been able to make a substantial down payment and I had never made a late payment. This company gives loans and then doesn't allow the customer to make a better situation for themselves. It is not easy to go to another bank and get a loan because no matter how much money you have you are flagged as a "high risk" customer. The customer service representatives leave messages in which they yell at me and accuse me of not paying my bills on time. As I stated earlier, I have a PERFECT payment history with this company. When I told the last customer service representative that called me that I would be writing his company up on My3Cents.com he laughed at me. I will never take a loan out through Chase again-having a loan through them has been the worst financial experience I have ever had.
