Best Buy Complaint - What should I do about their disorganization ?
SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI -- About 6 months ago my boyfriend and I purchased the new Super Mario Wii game. The associate checking us out asked if we would like to purchase the warranty on the game just in case it stopes working. We thought this would be a great idea since the game was 50 dollars. Well the game worked great up until a couple weeks ago and now it stops in middle of game play. We thought this would be fine since we had bought the warranty which stage in the case, so we thought. He has a 5 year old daughter so anything possible could've happened to the small slip of paper we didn't think we would need. So my boyfriend takes it to Best Buy thinking it would be in their system but they said we didn't buy the warranty. Here's the thing that bothers us, about a month ago he bought a cd player for his truck ( which even though they said would adapt to his truck, did not.) So he went to return it (4 days later!!) without receipt and they said he did not purchase it from them because it didn't pull up in their amazing computer system. So on a Friday afternoon he drives all the way back home to get receipt takes it back up there for them to finally exchange the stereo. So my thing is, how reliable is their 'system'? And what can I say to get them to believe us that we payed them money for this warranty and would like to use it?!? I'm going tomorrow alone( so I don't embarrasss him) and we will see what happens!!!!!
