Bob's Discount Furniture Complaint - Horrible Customer Service!!
STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I returned a bedroom set that was delivered to me damaged. Upon pick-up I was promised a 3 day turn around for my refund. Two weeks later, the company has yet to refund me, as they give me a daily promise it will be taken care of "today". I've heard that for the past 3 days. In addition, they won't refund me the delivery charge of $106 dollars for delivering damaged merchandise. If they ever refund me the money they owe, it will be less the delivery charge.
It's impossible to reach anyone by phone, including headquarters, and on the off chance you get a live person, they put you on hold for a minimum of 12-15 minutes. I keep having to drag my kids into the store to get this issue resolved. My next step is suing the company for my money back. They are a dispicable company, all the way from headquarters to the Stamford, CT store manager, Mike Perry. I'm surprised to see they are still in business.
