USA -- When I got my insurances I told my agent that I want to be covered for my hearing aids because they r my life line to the hearing world. He told me I was with nationwide now and there would be no problem if something happened to them. WELL GUESS WHAT? After two yrs with nationwide and after six months of have gotten my hearing aid complete rebuilt it happened I lost it at work. After looking for days for it I call nationwide they told me that they were sorry but my hearing aid was not covered and asked me if I like to get coverage for the if it ever happened again. I told them that there agent told me I was covered the first time how dumb do they think we r they also told me I should have read the policy in the fine print I would see no listing about losing hearing aids I think I mite have been covered if It had caught on fire dam I should have lied it seem to work for them maybe that’s why they have my money and I have no hearing aid they had there different people call me to tell me that they were not going to pay for the lose and send me a letter telling me the same. I learned a lessen when you buy insurances that’s a few cents cheaper you really get what you pay for or on the other hand you always get it in the end from the big company that’s on your side but they really don’t tell you with side of you they are on I guess I found out really was not my side but really BEHIND ME there agents tell you what you want to hear the company tells you what there going to do but in the end its all your fault
