MetLife says the no fault laws prohibits them from reimbursement in full in glasses lost when my wife was hit while on her bike by a car whose driver was insured by MetLife.
My wife is (was) a daily runner and has not been able to run since she was hit on August 9th 2010. Though she was lucky and did not break anything she is in physical therapy a few times a week. How wrong is Metlife in not replacing the glasses that were thrown from her face. A receipt was submitted and they offered barely 15% of what new glasses exactly like the ones she lost cost.
