Verizon Complaint - Worst Ever Everything
I switched from Cablevision to Verizon yesterday. It took me an hour to order the service. I didn't want to run credit so they wanted a $250 deposit which I gave them my credit card numbers for with the understanding that the money would NOT be touched until the appointment was made. I was told I would be getting a call back within 24 hours to schedule the appointment. Anyway, a couple hours after setting up my new service, I went to the bank. THEY ALREADY TOOK OUT THE $250 PLUS $9.99 for their support squad thing I signed up for but was DEFINITELY not told the money would come out there and then. It was supposed to come out with the $250 when the appointment was made. So I called Verizon right away, for over an hour they could NOT verify who I was or that I placed an order, their customer service was crappy to say the least. I told them, if you don't know who I am, then how the hell did you take my money???? We were on hold for an hour, got disconnected, NOBODY bothered to call me back.
Now it's the following day and I've been on the phone with them, mostly on hold since 8:55!!!! And they STILL don't know who I am!!!!!!
