Sanyo Manufacturing Corp Complaint - A broken tv - 52inch flat screen tv
52inch flat screen tv - Complaint
FORREST CITY, ARKANSAS -- We brought a 52 inch TV, we only had it one year and 5months, the power supply went out and we call the company and we told them what happen, we didn't buy extended warranty with it, so he told us that it wasn't nothing that they could do, so we call a repair guy out, he said it would cost us 650.00 dollars to get it fix, you pay 1000.00 dollars for the TV then pay someone 650 dollar to fix it, that is simply not fair. I would never never never ever buy another sanyo product, and I would tell any one I see and know that want to buy a TV, I would tell them to stay away from sanyo. It is bad they want stand behind there own product, they only want your money, they don't care anthing about there customer. SO PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE DO NOT I WILL SAY IT AGAIN DO NOT BUY A SANYO TV, TAKE IT FROM ME AND ALL THE OTHER CUSTOMERS.

The warranty is expired. Put that issue to rest.
The cost to replace the power supply is atrocious. Who gave you that price to repair it? Maybe that where this complaint should be directed.

Extended warranties are always a gamble, but less of a gamble with brands like Sanyo, Polaroid, Westinghouse, Emerson, Vizio etc etc. A Sanyo TV with an extended warranty is probably still cheaper than a Sony, Pioneer, Samsung TV. Instead of not recommending Sanyo, I'd maybe think about recommending buying the extended warranty when buying a cheaper brand.

Extended warrantys are usually not worth the money. Sometimes the fickle finger of fate deals you a bad item. That's life.
