Travelocity Complaint - Travelocity's Trip Insurance--So many barriers that you'll never get a refund
Don't believe the claim that Travelocity will reimburse you in case you have to cancel your trip. Its a lie. Here's the deal--and a true story. Say you have a serious injury, and have to be sent by ambulance to the ER, and miss your fight. Travelocity's insurance company demands that you get THEIR form (the ER records won't do, naturally), take the form back to the ER, track down whichever doctor at the ER stitched you up while you were bleeding (good luck with that--and they won't know, and he won't be there), get that Dr. to fill out Travelocity's lengthy form (good luck with that--he doesn't remember you and whether you were "fit to travel" or not), then send it in and MAYBE they will process your claim. This is a total empty promise--"yes, we'll refund your money, in theory, but we put so many barriers in your way that in practice its impossible."
