Sprint PCS Complaint - Sprint PCS Fraudulent Airline Bonus Miles!!!!
On 10/19/2004 I signed up for sprint PCS service online at http://www.sprint.com/united15kpcs. Under the terms of the promotion titled \"15,000 Miles - Exclusive Online Offer\", I was to recieve 15,000 United Arlines Frequent flier miles in two 7,500 mile increments. The first was to have posted 6 to 8 weeks after the first sprint invoice which was 10/21/2005. The first posting was only for 5000 miles, 2500 miles short. I called Sprint in early December to correct the problem and was told a problem report will be filed and I should see the miles in 4-6 additional weeks. It is now over 4 months after the first invoice. I have called numerous times in the last two months and can get no action or response on the issue. I even told them I have the offer in writting! and that they can call at any time for further info if they need it. I have been told that someone will call back in 24-48 hours each time with an answer. To date no Sprint rep has ever called and customer service never has any answer other than it is being worked on. Their lack of concern with fufilling their end of the promotion as promised is deplorable! Has anyone else ever had a simliar problem and got it solved? Buyer beware stay away from Sprint affinity miles offers, they make sure they get paid on time and impose hefty cancellation fees for their contracts but, refuse to honor their own terms and conditions. I pay all my Spint Bills on time. I can not terminate the contract without paying a $150 penalty. Yet, sprint is in violation of the terms of the offer and refuses to do anything about it. I am sure that if I was 4 months late on paying my first bill, I would have no more service and a hefty bill for violating the terms of the aggreement.
