Charter Communications Complaint - Why can't I get the truth the first time?
WISCONSIN -- So I was sitting at home wishing I had some extra channels to watch on TV, when I decided that I would find out how much it would be to upgrade to expanded basic. So I got online and did Charters online chat. They guy told me that I could upgrade for just $30 more dollars a month, and that if I wanted it the channels would be accessible in a few min. So I said yes go ahead. An hour later I still cannot view the channels so I get back on the Internet and start talking to another representative. She tells me that I cannot just start watching the channels, a tech would have to come out and install them. The fee for that would be $30, then it would be an extra $30 a month. Well that's not what I was first told, so I changed my mind about upgrading, and then she tells me that I will have to be transferred to another person to cancel the work order. Work order what work order? I never asked to put in a work order. So I finally get it situated, and never got a single apology for the guy lying to me in the first place. Whats worse is this is not the first time I have been lied to. It is so frustrating. So buyers beware, if is sounds good it is a lie.
