Duramaid Windows And Doors Complaint - Money Not Returned - Reflective Insulation

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA -- On Sept 30th I had a salesman out to see about my energy efficiency, he said I needed reflective insulation, He requested a deposit which, I wrote a check for. The men came out to put the insulation into my attic, but because of my air conditioner vents they said it would be a rip off, and called there supervisor, to report it, then told me to call Monday morning, which I did. So far the company is very responsible, then comes the trouble. I called Monday morning and, told them I did not have the work done and why and not to cash my check, The person I spoke with said he could not do anything about it but, would have someone call me. NO CALL, I then called the sales man, he said he would look into it and have someone to call me, NO CALL, but I am collecting names and numbers to call. My check is cashed on Oct 6th, I finally get a hold of the person who is responsible for sending me back the check, who tells me I should have it in 6 to 10 days NO CHECK, now I call every few days get no answer, I call the other names and numbers and they will get a hold of this guy, this is OCT 27 and I still have NO CHECK AND NO RETURN CALL.

Not that this will help you now, but you probably should have put a stop payment on the check as soon as you knew they weren't doing the work.
At this point, you should sue.
